About
Ceramic Coatings
Ceramic coatings act like a super hydrophobic synthetic clear coat which enhances the look and performance of your vehicle. Ceramic coatings not only protect your vehicle from environmental hazards like UV damage, iron deposits, road contaminates, overspray, and bird droppings, but it also increases your clear coat’s hardness by three times, allowing for three times more washing and drying before marring will begin to occur. It also increases the surface tension of your clear coat, diminishing the amount of surface pores and static which in turn lessens dirt and debris adhesion. This dramatically reduces the amount of time and effort needed to maintain your vehicle’s like new appearance.

Wax vs Sealant vs Ceramic Coatings
-
Wax
Car waxes are easily accessible, comprised of specific ratios of naturally occurring waxes such as carnauba, bees wax, or Montan, and are sold as a liquid or hard paste. Waxes are intended to protect your vehicle’s paint from dust, debris, and the elements while increasing its glossiness. However, like a wax candle rolling down a hill, dirt and grime are attracted to and easily embed within the wax, leading to the exterior surface becoming dirty quicker than paint surfaces coated with sealants or ceramic coatings. Waxes are easy to apply and remove due to their low bonding rate to the surface of the clear coat. The low bonding rate and low melting point causes the waxes to degrade quickly when subjected to washes and the elements, calling for frequent reapplication.
-
Sealant
Paint sealants are liquids that contain manmade polymers, resins and synthetics, which bond tightly to the clear coat creating a tight molecular barrier resulting in increased durability and lifespan. Sealants are relatively easy to fix if applied improperly, but you must be cautious as they easily stain plastic, vinyl and fabric. Sealants can be applied with a machine or as a spray and offer some resistance to abrasion, chemicals and UV degradation.

Ceramic Coating
Ceramic coatings are the highest quality product and latest technology on the market today when it comes to liquid paint protection. Composed of nano-ceramic liquid polymers, ceramic coatings bond rapidly, and with maximum adhesion, to the paint making professional application necessary and removal difficult if applied improperly. The tight molecular bond and high contact angle creates a super hydrophobic effect, superior durability, and years of protection. Ceramic coatings can be applied on matte and satin paint finishes as well as clear bra and vinyl.
